Are you looking for an air purifier with a high clean air delivery rate? If so, you are in luck. An air purifier with a high CADR can reduce pollutants from the air faster.

The concentration of pollutants per square meter in most homes and offices is usually higher than the outside. As such, people expose themselves to harmful pollution levels. The high levels of air pollution are harmful to respiratory and cardiovascular health.

Thankfully, we now have appliances that clean the air efficiently. A good example is the Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier. It has a high CADR and a greater purification range. This allows you to enjoy fresh air faster.

In-depth Review of Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier:

Everybody wants to breathe clean, fresh air. Today, it is necessary to have an air purifier at home and in your office. An air purifier can improve air quality in your home, offices, and shops. Colzer provides a wide selection of air filtration appliances to bring you a breathable environment.

Here are the features of the Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier.

Design

The Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier has a tall tower design. White in color, it features a double side air intake system. Most air purifiers either have a front air intake or a 360-degree air intake. Colzer chose to have a double side air intake as it draws more air into the purifier.

The more air the unit draws in, the more pollutants it traps within the filtration system. The air outlet is at the top of the unit. Thanks to the bottom-to-top airflow system, you and your family get to breathe clean air, day and night.

On the side, you have recessed handles, and at the base, you have 360-degree easy roll casters. While the unit measures 17 by 17 by 30.9 inches and weighs 32.2 pounds, you can move it from room to room with ease.

All you have to do is hold the recessed handles and roll the air purifier on its wheels. Since the wheels can rotate 360 degrees, you don’t have to lift the unit. When choosing a location to position the air purifier, make sure no objects block the air intake.

On the front panel of the unit, you have a multi-function display. It provides useful updates such as PM2.5, humidity, and temperature of the room in real-time. Just above the display, you have an LED light. The light changes color depending on the level of PM2.5.

If it turns green, the air quality is excellent, and if it turns red, the air quality is bad.

Room Coverage

When it comes to the clean air delivery rate, Colzer has outdone a majority of popular brands. Most brands set their air purifiers to have a CADR of less than 300 CFM.

This model has a CADR of 470 CFM. As such, it’s perfect for cleaning large rooms. In fact, the manufacturer recommends that you use the purifier to clean a room size of 1500 square feet.

In a large room measuring 1500 square feet, it can clean the air in 30 minutes. If placed in a room of 180 square feet, it can clean the air in 3 minutes.

The air purifier has an auto mode that smartly adjusts the speed of the fan. There are 5 fan speeds. If the air purifier detects a high level of pollutants in the air, it will select the highest fan speed.

This allows the unit to clean more air per minute.

Powerful Filtration System with two HEPA Filters

The Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier has a composite filtration system. It combines a honeycomb activated carbon filter and a true HEPA filter. It also has a pre-filter.

The pre-filter is the first stage of the filtration system. It traps large particles such as dust, pet fur, hair, and lint. It’s washable.

After the first stage, you have the true HEPA filter. They help to trap large particles as small as 0.3 microns. The HEPA filter has an efficiency rating of 99.97%.

Combined, they can trap and remove more particles efficiently. The last stage of the filtration system is the activated carbon filter. Composed of granular carbon, it traps cooking odors, VOCs, and some gases.

It has a filter replacement reminder. If the indicator turns red and flashes, it’s time to replace the filters. The indicator will flash red after 4 to 6 months (3000 hrs of runtime). To replace the filters, follow the instructions in the user manual.

Other Features

The Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier has more amazing features besides the powerful filtration system and high CADR. First, it has a sleep mode. The function allows the air purifier to run at a low speed and use less energy.

It also produces less noise. At the highest fan speed, it produces less than 65dB. This is slightly higher than a normal conversation at 60dB. Another feature you’ll like is the built-in Wi-Fi remote control. To use this function, you need to download the Smart Life app (android, iOS).

Colzer KJ800 Air Purifier App

With the app, you can adjust fan speed, set the timer, power off remotely, and check the filters’ status.

The purifier has a child lock function, which you can enable from the unit’s touch controls or via the app. This function helps to prevent your child from changing the settings accidentally.

Lastly, we have the touch controls located at the top. These controls allow you to select different functions from fan speed to child lock function. Just tap any of the icons to select a function.

Suitable Room Size for Colzer KJ800:

*The room size calculation is based on an ideal situation. For best practice, consider the size of the room a little less than the calculated value.

Why does my Colzer KJ800 keep beeping. Just the other day it began beeping and I have tried everything I can think of that is listed in the User Manual that came with this unit to correct the problem short of putting new filters in the unit. Someone sent me an email a few weeks ago saying they would send me some new filters but I haven’t seen anything delivered to my door yet ? So what do you think, is there anything I can do to stop the unit from beeping and what about those filters are you going to send them or do I need to have the unit picked up for inspection or is there any possibility that a service man can come over to take a look at it. Thanks, Jeffery Evans
