I bought 2 of the Blueair 211+ last year and they have both malfunctioned inside of 6 months purchase. I wonder if the quality of the product is a “second” when sold on Amazon vs the Blueair site. The customer service to get them replaced has been nearly non-existent over multiple attempts over an 8 week period of emails, phone calls, etc, until today. Will not ever re-purchase under any circumstances.
I purchased the Blue Pure 211i Max. THIS PRODUCT IS UNSAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND CHILDREN. It is advertised that the wi-fi function can be turned off yet when the switch is turned off it still emits very high levels of pulsed, radio frequency microwave radiation at levels that are unsafe for pregnant women and children and others who are sensitive to microwave sickness. The dangers have been proven through many studies. I have tried to contact the company repeatedly through emails, telephone calls and was promised that I would be able to speak to a supervisor yet many attempts have been ignored. I wanted to know how to disconnect the mechanism that was continuing to emit radiation. I sent photos of my meter readings showing high levels and have been ignored. Customer service is reprehensible. I shudder to think of how many homes are endangering the unborn and infants with radiation. Check this study
